Livestock Scientific Development Association (LSDA) is an Association of Institutes, Colleges and Universities Veterinarians, Scholars, Scientists & Academicians Organizations - Farms, Feed Mills, Integrations, Medicine & Feed additive Companies. LSDA is founded in the year 2023 by Dr. Sandeep Gupta, A renowned Animal Nutritionist. LSDA is located at the central India, Indore. Madya Pradesh. Spreading in an area of 2400 Sq. meters, Onsight it provides facilities for conducting trials in a controlled and standard environmental condition. A feed mill facility for formulation of experimental diet and an associated lab facility for the analysis of trial samples to assure the quality of experiment. The research team comprises of a team of experts and scientists who has a wide knowledge and experience in conducting sophisticated trials. Apart from the facilities, LSDA is committed to offer skill development program, short term training courses, workshops for young aspirants and poultry farmers to upgrade their skills in delivering ground-breaking results that has a profound real-world impact on individuals, farmers and poultry businesses.

Founder

Dr. Sandeep Gupta has completed his Ph. D. in Animal Nutrition in year 2016 from College of Veterinary Science and A.H., Mhow (M. P.). He has conducted many trials on Kadaknath breed of India and protease enzyme. He completed his B.V.Sc. & A.H. from Veterinary College, Mhow, JNKVV, Jabalpur in 1995. Then, he completed his post -graduation (M.V.Sc.) in Animal Nutrition in the year 2004 from CCSHAU, Hisar (Haryana). He has Indian Patent for using cysteine protease in poultry with patent no. 513462. Dr Sandeep Gupta has also completed General Management Program for Executives (GMPE) from IIM, Indore.

Since 2010, he started to provide consultancy to many Poultry Organizations of India as freelance Animal Nutrition Consultant including National Small Holder Poultry Development Trust (NSPDT). NSPDT is providing employment to below poverty women by facilitating poultry farming to improve their lifestyle. He is also appointed as member of research council of NDVSU, Jabalpur.

In 2016, Dr Sandeep Gupta established DSAND Animal Nutrition Pvt Ltd. DSAND is manufacturer of Poultry and Dairy Nutrition feed premixes and committed to introduce innovative premixes. DSAND has a fully automatic stainless steel batch mixing premix plant with 700-800 MT per month capacity under all standard quality parameters. DSAND is a fast-growing company efficient to introduce research-based feed additives to livestock Industry. DSAND has also established DSAND Nutrilabs Pvt. Ltd. which involves food processing. Under the leadership of Dr. Sandeep Gupta, a laboratory CDNA Labs Pvt. Ltd. is started for food and pharma sector.

LSDA was his dream project. Being in the industry for more than 15 years he came across the hurdles faced by poultry farmers, industrialists and even the universities. To uplift the standards of poultry sector, through LSDA, Dr. Sandeep Gupta aims to provide facility and service to boost the confidence and enrich the knowledge about Poultry industry.

Dr. M.K. Mehta

Head- LSDA

Dr. M.K. Mehta is basically from Mhow, he is a well-known Animal Nutritionist, Gold Medalist and also holds PhD degree in Animal Nutrition from the National Dairy Research Institute Karnal.

He started his professional journey as a Research Associate in 1982 and got selected as an Assistant Professor in 1985. Till 2006 he worked as Associate Professor in Animal Nutrition and later became the Dean of the College of Veterinary Sciences and A.H. Mhow and Dean Faculty N.D.V.S.U. Jabalpur. During his professional journey he received various awards like, Best Teacher Award at both, college and university levels. Dr. M.K. Mehta is awarded with CLFMA Merit Award for the outstanding research in the field of Animal Nutrition during 1992-1994.Having served in various roles he has a proven track record at the national level as he has taken assignments of ICAR, VCI, UPSC & Veterinary universities of different states. With a passion for researches in Animal Nutrition, Dr. M.K. Mehta is now leading LSDA as the Head of the organization.

Dr. Ankit Sharma

Assistant Manager- LSDA

Dr. Ankit Sharma has completed his Ph.D. in Poultry Science from the College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Pantnagar (GBPUAT, Pantnagar). He has done his M.V.Sc (Poultry Science) from College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Mathura DUVASU, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh and B.V.Sc from CSKHPKV, Palampur, Himachal Pradesh. He has done many researches in poultry and has many research publications in his names in the reputed journals like Asian Journal of Dairy and Food Research, The Pharma Innovation Journal, International Journal of Bio-resource and Stress Management. He has joined LSDA as an Assistant Manager for our Research and development facility. With a broader knowledge, skills and dedication, Dr. Ankit Sharma is now on a path of Achievement for both career and the industry.
